Project managers create a project and then an approval timeline. For instance, stage 1 might be the upload of rushes, stage 2 for marketing review and stage 3 legal and compliance. Each stage consists only of the users who need to see it at that stage.

As each file is uploaded and commented on it is then rejected and the project moves back to square one awaiting the new upload.

Files are encoded and stream online, meaning there’s no download and everybody knows what the latest version is.

Users can comment on files and the system captures the timecode of their comment. If permitted, they can view other users comments. Project Managers can see who has and hasn’t signed off and send reminders.

Once a file is approved, the Project Manager can add an HD version of the finished video and publish the video to a library which all users can access.

The additional benefit of this system is that your production companies are forced to work your way. Video is exported to a set format that will future-proof the assets and enforce a global standard. The approval workflow process will adhere to best practice.

In addition, files are automatically loaded into Vyoo and ready to stream the minute they’re signed off.
